With over 30 years of chiropractic care and 17 years of acupuncture experience, Dr. David Alvarado offers integrative physical medicine that combines chiropractic, acupuncture, massage, and exercise, all delivered personally by him. His goal: real, measurable relief, often a 50% reduction in pain within just six visits.
Dr. Alvarado starts every case with a thorough exam to find the actual source of your pain, not a generic guess, so your treatment plan addresses what's really going on. He keeps his patient load intentionally small so every procedure is performed by him, personally, from your first visit onward. From the first session, I felt real pain relief. I am so thankful for Dr. Alvarado and his services! I was in a terrible horse riding accident where I was thrown at a full gallop and shattered my collar bone and sustained a severe concussion, after a week in the hospital and surgery, I was in so much pain from the impact and injury. Desperate for help, I made an appointment with Dr. Alvarado. From the first session, I felt real pain relief, not only did Dr. Alvarado and his team perform acupuncture on my impact areas which helped so much with the pain, they also did acupuncture to help with my effects of my head injury. I went regularly, and felt substantial relief after each session. They combine acupuncture, chiropractic and physical therapy and my combination sessions helped tremendously with pain relief and also helping me get my range of motion in my neck and shoulder and my overall strength back. If you have some kind of pain, I recommend Dr. Alvarado without reservation. I had serious neck pain for about 3 months and tried multiple strategies to get relief on my own, but nothing was working. The pain was making it difficult to go to work and drive. A friend suggested I try acupuncture with Dr. Alvarado. It was easy to get an appointment. He assessed my neck and shoulders thoroughly and created a plan that used several strategies concurrently: accupuncture, myofacial massage and some easy stretches and exercises. I will say, I had never tried acupuncture before, but because I was in such pain, and had no range of motion in my neck, I was willing to try anything to get some relief. He did the work in the amount of time that he estimated. During treatment my neck felt so much better and at the end of our sessions I would say I was about 95% better than I was when we started. Also, during one of our sessions, I had a migraine and some nausea. He used a needle in a specific spot on my arm for the nausea, and it went away immediately. I was really amazed. He was kind, practical, and direct. His staff was friendly. His office was easy to get to. .
